I would like to say thank you to all who joined the first part of our Summer School. The theme was “Save The Earth.” I hope you enjoyed all the activities we had.
First Day- Introductions of the theme Save The Earth and printing shirts.
2nd day- The children learned how to protect our environment by using less chemicals. We made natural Air Freshener with fresh lemon juice, coconut oil, vanilla extract, water and alcohol.
3rd day the children learned the 3 R’s- Reduce using plastics, Reuse toys, clothes and other stuffs and Recycle trash. In the afternoon we made slime, the most famous toy for the children.
4th day- The children learned how to conserve energy. We made lamp. This lamp is very useful especially for the children who can’t sleep without turning off the lights.
5th day- The children learned the importance of the trees to human and environment. The children also planted plants that give fresh air in the house, just like the little Hawaii or mini palm plant, spider plant, kapok and coffee plant. After planting the children enjoyed the watermelon hitting. On this day the children were treated ice cream cake and fruits by Kako from Melon Class.
6th day- The children reviewed what they learned on How to Save The Earth. They made scrapbook in the afternoon.
During this Summer School we start the day by singing and exercising. We also played games and splash/ splish in the water almost every day.
Thank you again to all of you who joined the 1st part- SaveThe Earth.
Please enjoy the rest of the Summer School in August and hope you spend the summer break wonderfully.See you all again next time. Stay Safe!!
